Details

At 904 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles north of Flahertys Corner, or 34 miles southwest of Chadron,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Hemingford, Box Butte Campground, Box Butte County Fairgrounds, Box
Butte Reservoir, Marsland, Belmont, and Box Butte Dam.
