At 246 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 7 miles southwest of
Alkabo, or 33 miles west of Crosby, moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Fortuna, Alkabo, and Writing Rock State Historical Site.
