At 302 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles west of Johnstown, or 22 miles southeast of Valentine, moving
southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Wood Lake.
This includes Highway 20 between mile markers 214 and 225.
