Details

At 1105 PM CDT/1005 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 10 miles southwest of Kendall, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
Hamilton, southern Kearny, northern Grant and northeastern Stanton
Counties.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT/200 AM
MDT/ for southwestern Kansas.
