Details
At 919 PM CDT/819 PM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of
Granada to 13 miles northwest of Manter. Movement was northeast at 20
mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. Areas of blowing dust.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of Hamilton, west
central Kearny and northwestern Stanton Counties.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
