At 651 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Williamstown, moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Lawrence, Eudora, Lecompton, and Williamstown.
This includes Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 194 and 205.
