At 725 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking the leading edge of winds
from strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Chilocco
to 5 miles northwest of Marland. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include…
Ponca City, Blackwell, Tonkawa, Newkirk, Kaw City, Kildare, Chilocco,
Kaw Lake, Hardy, and Peckham.
