Details

At 1129 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles northeast of
Halfway to 8 miles south of Anton to 8 miles southwest of
Locketville. Movement was southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Lubbock, Plainview, Levelland, Brownfield, Abernathy, Hale Center,
Wolfforth, Shallowater, Sundown, Anton, Cotton Center, Spade, Lubbock
South Plains Mall, Locketville, Halfway, Reese Center, Lubbock
International Airport, Texas Tech University, Whitharral, and
Downtown Lubbock.
