At 1154 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Steele, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Steele, Cooter, Heloise, Holland, Ayers, Hickman, Barfield, Number
Nine, Huffman, Mengelwood, Chic, Braggadocio, West Hermondale,
Samford, New Survey, Channel, Denton, Tyler, Covington, and
Cottonwood Point.
This includes the following highways…
Interstate 55 in Arkansas near mile marker 72.
Interstate 55 in Missouri between mile markers 1 and 13.
