Details
At 742 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Champion, or 11 miles southeast of Colorado City,
moving north at 20 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Loraine.
This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 222 and 228.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
