Details
At 515 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Nocona to near Alvord to near Springtown.
Movement was northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Denton, Flower Mound, Southlake, Gainesville, Trophy Club, Sanger,
Decatur, Bridgeport, Bowie, Nocona, Briar, Roanoke, Pecan Acres,
Krum, Argyle, Justin, Northlake, Muenster, Rhome, and Haslet.
This includes the following highways…
Interstate 35 between mile markers 468 and 503.
Interstate 35W between mile markers 68 and 85.
Interstate 35E near mile marker 466.
Instructions
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
