Details
At 814 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles south of Lisco to 8 miles northwest of
Twin Buttes. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Lodgepole and Sunol.
This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 65 and
77.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska.
