Details
At 445 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southeast of Stonington, or 15 miles northwest of Elkhart,
moving northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Morton
County.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
southwestern Kansas.
