Details
At 200 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 3 miles north of Whiting to 4 miles northeast
of Potawatomi Reservation to Maple Hill. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 45 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is
possible.

Topeka, Holton, Valley Falls, Rossville, Oskaloosa, Tecumseh, St.
Marys, Silver Lake, Meriden, Hoyt, Ozawkie, Nortonville, Maple Hill,
Winchester, Wetmore, Mayetta, Belvue, Emmett, Whiting, and Denison.
This includes the following highways…
Interstate 70 between mile markers 344 and 355.
Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 175 and 188.
