At 256 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bear Country, or 9 miles south of Rapid City, moving southeast at 25
mph.

HAZARD…Nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Hermosa, Hayward, Rockerville, Hart Ranch, Black Gap, Reptile
Gardens and Bear Country.

Instructions

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.

Very heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
