Details

At 710 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Orfordville, or near Beloit, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Janesville, Beloit, South Beloit, Clinton, Orfordville, Newark,
Tiffany, Foxhollow, Shopiere, Afton, and Avon.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 39/90 between mile markers 178 and 187.
Interstate 43 between mile markers 0 and 11.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central and southeastern Wisconsin.
