Details

At 1130 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Chimney Rock National Historic Site, or 20 miles southeast of
Scottsbluff, moving southeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Bridgeport, Bayard, Broadwater, McGrew, Chimney Rock National
Historic Site, Northport, Courthouse And Jail Rock, Bridgeport State
Recreation Area, Morrill County Fairgrounds, The Intersection Of
Highway 385 And 92, Moomaw Corner, and South Bayard Junction.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
