Details
At 719 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from near Arp to near Reese, or extending
from 6 miles east of Whitehouse to 12 miles northwest of
Jacksonville, moving southeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Jacksonville, Whitehouse, Bullard, Troup, Arp, Mixon, Mount Selman,
Reese, New Summerfield, Cuney and Teaselville.
Instructions
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
