Details

At 502 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking thunderstormS just south
of Columbus and moving northeast around 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 35 to 50 mph with areas of blowing dust
lowering visibilities to one mile or less.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
West El Paso, Central El Paso, Northeast El Paso, Columbus, Las
Cruces, Santa Teresa, Anthony, Vado, Deming, Sunland Park, NMSU Main
Campus, Canutillo, Akela, Afton, Anthony Gap, Berino, Vinton,
Mesilla, San Miguel, and Westway.
