Details
At 859 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms and
associated outflow winds along a line extending from Plainview to
Cotton Center to Lubbock. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Blowing dust may result in brief
visibility reductions.

Lubbock, Plainview, Slaton, Abernathy, Hale Center, Wolfforth,
Shallowater, Idalou, Ransom Canyon, Kress, Cotton Center,
Claytonville, Lubbock South Plains Mall, Aiken, Lubbock International
Airport, Texas Tech University, Halfway, Downtown Lubbock, Reese
Center, and Seth Ward.
Instructions
Be prepared for sudden reductions in visibility due to blowing dust.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
