Details

At 346 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles northwest of Mercer to 6 miles south of
Turtle Flambeau Flowage to near Willow Lake to near New Wood Wildlife
Area. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near…
Tripoli and Willow Lake around 350 AM CDT.
Lac Du Flambeau, Willow Reservoir, and Squirrel Lake around 355 AM
CDT.
Tomahawk and Gilbert around 400 AM CDT.
Winchester around 405 AM CDT.
Rice Creek Natural Area around 410 AM CDT.
Harrison and Woodboro around 415 AM CDT.
Rhinelander, Newbold, Boulder Junction, Border Lakes Natural Area,
and Rainbow Flowage around 420 AM CDT.
Parrish around 425 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Sayner, Bradley,
Kelly Lynn Bog Natural Area, Lower Tomahawk River Natural Area,
Harshaw, Hazelhurst, Mccord, Otter Lake Campground, Jeffris, and
Goodnow.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.
