Details

At 1112 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from near Cokato to over Buffalo Lake, or
extending from 16 miles west of Buffalo to 14 miles southwest of
Hutchinson, moving southeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Hutchinson, Waconia, Glencoe, Delano, Watertown, Norwood Young
America, Montrose, Cokato, Winsted, Arlington, Howard Lake, Mayer,
Lester Prairie, Cologne, Silver Lake, Brownton, Stewart, Green
Isle, Waverly and Hollywood.

weather conditions.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
