Details
At 914 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
McCool Junction, or 10 miles southeast of York, moving east at 20
mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern York
and northeastern Fillmore Counties.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
south central and east central Nebraska.
