Southwestern Butler County in north central Iowa…

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 357 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Aplington, or 14 miles northwest of Grundy Center,
moving southeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Grundy Center and Holland around 410 PM CDT.
Morrison around 415 PM CDT.
Reinbeck around 420 PM CDT.
