The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Southeastern Bexar County in south central Texas…
Guadalupe County in south central Texas…

* Until 200 PM CDT.

* At 900 AM CDT, the public reported thunderstorms producing heavy
rain causing flash flooding at Cibolo Creek at FM 78. Between 1
and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2
to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

San Antonio, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Schertz, Seguin, Cibolo,
Converse, Universal City, Live Oak, Selma, Luling, Randolph AFB,
San Antonio Int Airport, Kirby, Alamo Heights, Windcrest, Terrell
Hills, McQueeney, St. Hedwig and Elmendorf.
