The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
North Central Crockett County in west central Texas…

* Until 645 AM CDT.

* At 345 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches in 1 hour.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Mainly rural areas of North Central Crockett County.

This includes the following Low Water Crossings…
crossings along County Road 208.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
