The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Central Webb County in south central Texas…

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 429 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area where the ground is already
saturated. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. The expected
rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall
amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Laredo, Orvil, Doctors Hospital Of Laredo, Laredo Country Club,
Unitec Industrial Park, Texas A&M, Laredo International Airport,
Ranchos Penitas West, St Augustine High School South Laredo, Laredo
Community College, United South High School and Botines.
