…The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas…

Neches River Near Diboll affecting Polk, Trinity and Angelina
Counties.

For the Neches River…including Neches, Alto, Diboll, Rockland…
Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Neches River near Diboll.

* WHEN…From this afternoon to late Sunday night.

* IMPACTS…At 12.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs. Expect
flooded boat ramps and trails.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 1:15 PM CDT Saturday was 12.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.1 feet
this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow
morning.
– Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.1
feet on 05/21/1956.

Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when
walking near riverbanks.
