Missouri River at Atchison affecting Atchison, Buchanan and Platte
Counties.

…Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Kansas…
Missouri…

Missouri River at St Joseph affecting Doniphan, Buchanan and Andrew
Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Missouri River at Atchison.

* WHEN…From this afternoon to late Saturday night.

* IMPACTS…At 22.0 feet, Low-lying areas on the Missouri side of the
river begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 21.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this afternoon to a crest of 22.2 feet this evening. It will then
fall below flood stage late tonight.
– Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
