…The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Iowa River at Marengo affecting Benton and Iowa Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Iowa River at Marengo.

* WHEN…From Thursday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, water breaches the mill race dikes near
Middle Amana.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Wednesday, the stage was 13.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 18.2 feet
Saturday evening.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
