* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…West Central Brown County in northeastern South Dakota…

* WHEN…Until 800 AM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 133 AM CDT, an off-duty NWS Employee reported standing water
over roadways at multiple locations in Aberdeen. Between 1.5 and
3.5 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Aberdeen and Bath.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
