for the following rivers in Kansas…
Solomon River near Glasco affecting Cloud County.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Solomon River near Glasco.
* WHEN…From Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…At 22.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs along the
river from the Cloud and Mitchell County line to Niles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 2:46 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 5.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
Saturday afternoon to a crest of 22.9 feet Saturday evening. It
will then fall below flood stage late Saturday evening.
– Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
Instructions
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
