* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

Northeastern Pettis County in central Missouri…
Southern Saline County in central Missouri…

* WHEN…Until 915 AM CDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 916 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly
in the warned area. Between 1.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Boonville, Sweet Springs, New Franklin, Pilot Grove, Bunceton,
Houstonia, Prairie Home, Emma, Nelson, Hughesville, Blackwater,
Franklin, Wooldridge, Lamine and Clifton City.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
