* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.
* WHERE…Southern Crawford County in east central Missouri…
Northwestern Iron County in southeastern Missouri…
* WHEN…Until 130 AM CDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated
with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 525 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the
warned area. Between 6 and 10 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Steelville, Cherryville, Cook Station, Davisville and Dillard.
– This includes the following State Parks…
Dillard Mill Historic Site.
This includes Interstate 44 in Missouri near exit 203.
Instructions
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
