…The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

North Skunk River near Sigourney affecting Keokuk County.

Skunk River at Augusta affecting Des Moines, Henry IA and Lee
Counties.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Skunk River at Augusta.

* WHEN…From late Thursday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 19.0 feet, Water affects driveways and gravel access
roads in Augusta.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage Friday
morning and continue rising to a crest of 19.9 feet Saturday
evening.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Instructions

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
