…The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston TX has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Texas…

Greens Bayou at U.S. Hwy 59 affecting Harris County.

For the Greens Bayou…including U.S. Hwy 59…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Greens Bayou at U.S. Hwy 59.

* WHEN…Until late this evening.

* IMPACTS…At 55.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins as water
escapes the north side of the upstream bank at U.S. Highway 59.
Water is close to inundating the southbound feeder road south of
the channel.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 52.2 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 52.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage late this
afternoon to 55.5 feet and fall below flood stage this
evening.
– Flood stage is 55.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
55.4 feet on 04/28/2009.
