* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE…East Central Iron County in southeastern Missouri…
Southern Madison County in southeastern Missouri…

* WHEN…Until 300 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated
with water and may not be passable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 706 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the
warned area. Between 5 and 10 inches of rain have fallen.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Marquand, Buckhorn and Saco.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
