…The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Maquoketa River near Maquoketa affecting Jackson County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Maquoketa River near Maquoketa.

* WHEN…From late tonight to Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 26.0 feet, Significant agricultural flooding and
increasing impacts on the city of Maquoketa.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:15 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 22.7 feet and rising
rapidly.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
tonight to a crest of 25.7 feet tomorrow evening. It will then
fall below flood stage late Monday morning.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

Instructions

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
