…The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas…

Llano River Near Junction affecting Kimble County.

For the Llano River…including Junction…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Llano River near Junction.

* WHEN…From this morning to late tonight.

* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding will occur to ranch
land. Secondary roads and low water crossings will be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.6 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
afternoon to a crest of 16.6 feet this afternoon. It will then
fall below flood stage this afternoon.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 16.5
feet on 06/18/1961.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law

Weather Service when you can do so safely.
