Warning for the following rivers in Texas…
Llano River Near Junction affecting Kimble County.
For the Llano River…including Junction, Mason…Minor flooding is
forecast.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Llano River near Junction.
* WHEN…From this afternoon to Friday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 9.6 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river will rise above flood stage this afternoon
to 19.2 feet late this afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage late this evening to 2.2 feet Saturday morning. It will
rise to 2.4 feet early Sunday morning. It will then fall again
and remain below flood stage.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 19.1
feet on 07/23/2024.
