* WHERE…Western Labette County in southeastern Kansas…
Montgomery County in southeastern Kansas…

* WHEN…Until 100 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 730 AM CDT, Morning storms have already produced 2 to 3 inches
of rainfall with more on the way over the next few hours.
Rainfall rates with the stronger storms will continue to be very
high and will likely lead to flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Coffeyville, Independence, Cherryvale, Caney, Dearing, Mound
Valley, Elk City, Tyro, Liberty, Havana, Bolton, Sycamore,
Independence Airport, Coffeyville Airport, Elk City State Park,
Elk City Lake, Angola, Parsons Tri City Airport, Big Hill Lake
and Dennis.
