…The National Weather Service in Wichita KS has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Kansas…

Salt Creek At Barnard affecting Lincoln County.

Saline River Near Lincoln affecting Lincoln County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Saline River near Lincoln.

* WHEN…From Monday afternoon to late Tuesday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 32.0 feet, The lowlands around the gage site begin to
flood. Much of this lowland is cultivated land.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 11.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 32.5 feet early
Tuesday morning. It will then fall below flood stage late
Tuesday morning.
– Flood stage is 30.0 feet.

Instructions

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don’t
drown.
