…The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Texas…

Beaver Creek Near Mason affecting Mason County.

For the Beaver Creek…including Mason…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Beaver Creek near Mason.

* WHEN…From this morning to late tonight.

* IMPACTS…At 17.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding will occur.
Secondary roads and low water crossings will be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:15 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.1 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:15 AM CDT Thursday was 17.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.1 feet
late this morning. It will then fall below flood stage this
afternoon.
– Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 17.6
feet on 10/16/2018.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
