…The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Minnesota…

Cedar River near Lansing affecting Mower County.

Cedar River at Austin affecting Mower County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Cedar River near Lansing.

* WHEN…Until Sunday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 4:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 17.1 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
morning to a crest of 18.6 feet this evening. It will then fall
below flood stage just after midnight tonight.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 18.3
feet on 06/17/2014.

Instructions

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
