…The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Illinois…Missouri…

Mississippi River at Louisiana.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Mississippi River at Louisiana.

* WHEN…From Thursday afternoon to Monday evening.

* IMPACTS…At 15.0 feet, The first quarter mile of Edison Avenue
beyond the railroad tracks begins flooding near this height.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 13.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 15.9 feet Friday evening. It
will then fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
