…The National Weather Service in Springfield MO has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

James River at Galena affecting Stone County.

For the James River…including Galena, Boaz…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…James River at Galena.

* WHEN…Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS…At 17.5 feet, Flood waters reach the second window level
of the restrooms at the James River Outfitter Canoe Park area.
(938.5 FT MSL)

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:15 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 13.3 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this evening to a crest of 17.5 feet just after midnight
tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
afternoon.
– Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
