Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Little Osage River near Horton affecting Vernon County.

For the Little Osage River…including Horton…Minor flooding is
forecast.

The next statement will be issued Friday evening at 845 PM CDT.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Little Osage River near Horton.

* WHEN…From Saturday morning to Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 45.0 feet, moderate flooding occurs at the gage site.
Low lying areas along Route D near Stotesbury flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 32.1 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 41.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Saturday morning to a crest of 43.2 feet early Sunday
morning. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday
morning.
– Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
43.2 feet on 05/16/2009.
