Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Raccoon River at Des Moines Fleur Dr affecting Polk County.

Raccoon River at Van Meter Hwy R16 affecting Dallas and Polk
Counties.

Raccoon River at Des Moines IA 28 affecting Polk County.

Middle River near Indianola affecting Warren County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast. This approaches or exceeds the
flood of record.

* WHERE…Middle River near Indianola, or from Clanton Creek near
Spring Hill to the Des Moines River.

* WHEN…From this evening to Friday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 25.0 feet, Water affects parts of Hwy G24.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:15 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 21.4 feet, and rising.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
evening to a crest of 25 to 25.5 feet tomorrow morning. It will
then fall below flood stage early Friday morning. The record high
stage is 25.6 feet in June 2008.
– Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
