…The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a Flood Warning
for the following rivers in Missouri…

St. Francis River near Patterson.

.Recent heavy rainfall will cause a rapid rise into minor flood stage
on the St. Francis River at Patterson.

For the St. Francis River…including Patterson…Minor flooding is
forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…St. Francis River near Patterson.

* WHEN…Until Saturday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 6:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 10.9 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
morning to a crest of 22.5 feet this evening. It will then fall
below flood stage late tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Instructions

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars
through flooded areas.
