…The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Upper Iowa River at Bluffton affecting Winneshiek County.

The next statement will be issued this evening by 700 PM CDT.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Upper Iowa River at Bluffton.

* WHEN…From this afternoon to this evening.

* IMPACTS…At 12.0 feet, River is significantly outside of its banks
impacting both Bluffton Canoe Landings. Campgrounds along the river
in Bluffton are underwater.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 11.7 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.0 feet
this afternoon.
– Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.2
feet on 07/25/2005.
